Thursday, May 25, 1967 remains the greatest day in Celtic Football Club’s long and illustrious history as Jock Stein’s side defeated Inter Milan 2-1 at the Estadio Nacional in Lisbon to win the European Cup. The 50th anniversary of that incredible season is celebrated in this book. It tells the story of the season, round by round, as Jock Stein’s side progressed in their inaugural European Cup campaign, while they swept all before them in Scotland.
